She was born November 19, 1927, in Weeksbury, Kentucky, to the late Leonard and Sarah Elsie Johnson Trenner.<\/p>\n<p>Ellen was a 1946 graduate of East High School in Columbus.<\/p>\n<p>She worked as a seamstress for 20 years at the former Hercules (later the Kuppenheimer Co.) Pants Factory. She retired in 1993 from the V.A. Medical Center-Chillicothe where she was employed in building maintenance. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Samantha Johnson, daughter, Sara Lee Holder, and son-in-law, Bill Sorrell in 2011.<\/p>\n<p>Ellen is survived by two daughters, Diana Trace and Sue Sorrell, both of Wellston, as well as nine grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.<\/p>\n<p>Arrangements are by the Jenkins Funeral Chapel in Wellston. Viewing hours will be Sunday, June 24, from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. with graveside services at 2:15 p.m. at the Ray Cemetery.
