Waneta A. Crego, age 57, of Wellston, passed away Friday, January 7, 2022, at the Holzer Medical Center in Jackson, Ohio. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
She was born April 3, 1964, in Chillicothe, Ohio, daughter of the late Archie Gillman and Sarah Mae Darst Gillman. Waneta was a former cook at Lee’s Steakhouse in Wellston for over 20 years and was recently working as a home health aide. Waneta was a sweet and kind-hearted person who loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Dwight A. Crego; children, Jodi Zimmerman (Andrew), Jenni Sheets (Jeremy) and Cain Crego (Laura); grandchildren, Andrew, Alayna, Noah and MariAnn; sister, Kathy Gillman; along with several close friends. Besides her parents, Waneta was preceded in death by her brothers, Bill Gillman and Joe Gillman. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
