{"id":12135,"date":"2021-10-17T19:05:00","date_gmt":"2021-10-17T23:05:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jacksoncountyohiogen.com\/members\/?p=12135"},"modified":"2021-10-29T19:06:31","modified_gmt":"2021-10-29T23:06:31","slug":"rosabelle-ray","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jacksoncountyohiogen.com\/members\/2021\/10\/17\/rosabelle-ray\/","title":{"rendered":"Rosabelle Ray"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Rosabelle Burton Ray, age 85, of Zanesville, and a former resident of Glenroy, &nbsp;passed away Thursday, October 14, 2021 at Alter Care in Zanesville.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She was born October 7, 1936 in Jackson, Ohio to the late Archie Burton and Ella Cheek Burton.&nbsp; Rosabelle, a 1954 &nbsp;graduate of Jackson High School, was a loving housewife and mother who enjoyed watching TV, spending time with her family and visiting with the neighbors.&nbsp; She formerly attended Maggie&#8217;s Home Church in Dundas and Prospect Methodist Church in Adamsville.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rosabelle is survived by her sons, Doug E. Ray (Susan), Mark A. Ray and Scott C. Ray (Michelle), all of Zanesville; sister, Carolyn Wyatt of Glenroy, along with 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Quade Ray; &nbsp;brothers, Charles Burton and David Burton; and her former husband, Gene Douglas Ray.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Calling hours will be Monday, October 18, 2021, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.\u00a0 Funeral service will follow the calling hours at 1 p.m. at the funeral home and burial will be in the Greenlawn Memory Gardens in Coalton.\u00a0 Online condolences can be sent to the family at\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.mcwilliams-funeral-home.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">www.mcwilliams-funeral-home.com<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Rosabelle Burton Ray, age 85, of Zanesville, and a former resident of Glenroy, &nbsp;passed away Thursday, October 14, 2021 at Alter Care in Zanesville.
