Thomas \u201cTom\u201d Floyd Pelfrey, age 79, of Oak Hill, Ohio passed away Wednesday, Aug. 11, at his home. He was born Feb. 16, 1942, in Rodney, Ohio to the late Fred and Ermel (Gothard) Pelfrey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He is survived by brothers Wilbur \u201cJake\u201d Pelfrey, Alvie Pelfrey, and Joe Pelfrey; sister, Geraldine \u201cGerri\u201d Briegl; daughter, Kim Woods; several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews; as well as special friend, Linda Dowdy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, William \u201cRay\u201d Pelfrey and sister, Edith Osborne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, Aug.\u00a014 from 12:45\u00a0p.m.\u00a0–\u00a02\u00a0p.m.\u00a0at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson,\u00a0with Masonic services beginning the visitation hour at 12:45\u00a0p.m. Funeral ceremonies\u00a0with military honors will follow beginning at 2\u00a0p.m.\u00a0with Pastor Bill Zink officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
