John Aric Woods, age 50, of Oak Hill passed away on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at his home. He was born January 12, 1971 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Kenneth D. and Ruby A. (Fulk) McGuire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Kimberly (Pelfrey) Woods; children, Justin (Samantha) White, Lacie (Jason) Hougland, Alisha Woods, and Aric Woods; nine grandchildren, Dillian Swisher, Jason Hougland Jr., Anna Hougland, Ava Hougland, Leeland Woods, Maleea Woods, Ian Woods, Benny White and Landon White; brother, Kenny Woods; Best friend, Mike Shepard; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Arnold Scott and Robert Woods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He was one of the best fathers anyone could ever ask for. He loved spending time with his wife, kids and grandchildren, fishing, hunting, and mushroom hunting. He was an amazing man. He will be missed by all who knew him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
