{"id":11353,"date":"2021-01-12T12:43:26","date_gmt":"2021-01-12T17:43:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jacksoncountyohiogen.com\/members\/?p=11353"},"modified":"2021-01-16T12:44:57","modified_gmt":"2021-01-16T17:44:57","slug":"thomas-michael-heil","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jacksoncountyohiogen.com\/members\/2021\/01\/12\/thomas-michael-heil\/","title":{"rendered":"Thomas Michael Heil"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Thomas Michael Heil, age 74, of Wellston, passed away Friday, January 8, 2021, at his home.\u00a0 He was born October 2, 1946 in Marysville, Ohio, son of the late Thomas Henry Heil and Janet Moss Heil. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tom was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during the Vietnam War.\u00a0 He was a registered X-ray technologist who was employed at Memorial Hospital in Marysville for over 30 years. Tom enjoyed being outdoors fishing, camping and riding Harleys.\u00a0 He is survived by his children, Michael Heil of Circleville and Angela Hillyard of Richwood; grandchildren, Brooke Tolbar, Nicholas Heil, Elizabeth Martinelli, Alysha Jewett, Clara Cox, Maggie Hillyard and RJ Hillyard; brother, George Heil; and sister, Susie Ballsinger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In keeping with Tom&#8217;s wishes, his body was cremated.\u00a0 A graveside memorial service, with military honors, will be held at a later date in the Ridgewood Cemetery in Wellston.\u00a0 Arrangements are under the direction of the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.\u00a0 Online condolences can be sent to the family at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mcwilliams-funeral.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"www.mcwilliams-funeral.com (opens in a new tab)\">www.mcwilliams-funeral.com<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Thomas Michael Heil, age 74, of Wellston, passed away Friday, January 8, 2021, at his home.\u00a0 He was born October 2, 1946 in Marysville, Ohio, son of the late Thomas Henry Heil and Janet Moss Heil.
