Ruth Leona (Balzer) Garthee, age 91, of Jackson, Ohio, passed away Saturday, Jan. 2, 2021. She was a resident of Jenkins Care Center at Wellston, Ohio. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Andy Garthee and a close friend, Frank Lundy.\u00a0 Ruth was the daughter of Peter Balzer Jr. and his wife Mabel (Halterman) Balzer.\u00a0 She was also preceded in death by siblings, Gladys Balzer Chandler, Mary Balzer, and brothers, Robert, Wiliam and Warren Balzer.\u00a0 She is survived by one brother, Phillip Balzer of Jackson.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
