Erma J. Tackett, age 78, of Jackson, passed away at the Four Winds Community on Thursday, Dec. 17, 2020 at 2:30 p.m. due to complications from COVID-19. She was born in Letcher County, Kentucky on Sept. 5, 1942 to the late Ballard M. Tackett and Beulah (Mullins) (Tackett) Park. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Glenn Aldridge, her second husband, Harry Mosier, a daughter, Deborah Rose, and a grandson, Joshua Aldridge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She is survived by her children: Bradley (Melinda) Aldridge, Laurie Aldridge and Angela Aldridge; a brother, Thomas (Linda) Tackett; sisters: Ivy (Roger) Crabtree and Sonja (Edwin) Simpson; along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Erma worked at Goodyear for many years and retired from Meridian. She enjoyed spending time with her family and enjoyed decorating her home for the different seasons and holidays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Graveside services will be held at Buckeye Church Cemetery on Monday, Dec. 21 at 1:30 p.m., with Rev. Jack Hughes officiating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The family will receive friends at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home on Monday, Dec. 21 from 12 to 1 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
