{"id":10945,"date":"2020-08-18T09:33:30","date_gmt":"2020-08-18T13:33:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jacksoncountyohiogen.com\/members\/?p=10945"},"modified":"2020-08-23T09:35:02","modified_gmt":"2020-08-23T13:35:02","slug":"margile-ellen-jenkins-mcfann","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jacksoncountyohiogen.com\/members\/2020\/08\/18\/margile-ellen-jenkins-mcfann\/","title":{"rendered":"Margile Ellen Jenkins McFann"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Margile Ellen Jenkins McFann, age 90, died peacefully at her home in Oak Hill, Ohio, on Aug. 14, 2020.&nbsp; She was born March 22, 1930, to the late Eunice (Crabtree) Jenkins and Robert Guy Jenkins.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She was a lifelong member of the Faith United Methodist Church and a graduate of the Oak Hill High School Class of 1948.\u00a0 She was a bookkeeper for Jones-Morgan Hardware and R&amp;E McFann Construction Company. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She was a lifelong member of the Faith United Methodist Church and a graduate of the Oak Hill High School Class of 1948.\u00a0 She was a bookkeeper for Jones-Morgan Hardware and R&amp;E McFann Construction Company.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her brother, Clifford Jenkins, and numerous sisters and brothers-in-law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Margile is survived by her loving husband of 72 years, Richard H. McFann, and her adoring children: Portia (Gary) Thomas, Dennis (Cathie) McFann, and Eric (Yvonne) McFann, all of Oak Hill.\u00a0 Also, grandchildren: Marlo (Kent) Yarnall of Sevierville, TN; Trevor (Lucy) Thomas of Chillicothe, OH; Matthew (April) McFann of Oak Hill, OH; Bronwyn (Rick) Patterson of Waynesville, OH; Trenton (LaChelle) Thomas of Wauseon, OH; Mallory (Tyler) Williams of Oak Hill, OH; and Madison (Coty) Lester, also of Oak Hill, OH; great-grandchildren: Moriah (Taylor) Waller, Meagan Yarnall, Brady Thomas, Paige Patterson, Bailee Thomas, Mason Thomas, Blake Patterson, Aubree Thomas, Brailon McFann, Tanner Thomas, Teegan Thomas, Braxton Williams, Marley Yarnall, Kensington Lester, Emilee Lewis, and Carter Lewis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She is also survived by numerous, nieces, nephews, and cousins.\u00a0 She was proud of the McFann Clan, as she called them, especially her sister-in law, Jean (Jack) Kemp, whom she felt was more like a sister. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Margile was a busy, talented, and hardworking wife and mother, who was always on the move.\u00a0 She loved to travel, shop, bake, quilt and craft.\u00a0 She loved everyone, especially her church family and friends.\u00a0 Her grandchildren were the light of her eye and when the great-grandchildren came along, she was still busy making quilts for them and traveling to see them near and far.\u00a0 She will be long remembered and missed by all who knew and loved her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Friends may call Monday, Aug. 17, 2020 from 12 to 3 p.m. at the Lewis &amp; Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill.\u00a0 Funeral services will immediately follow at 3 p.m. with Pastor Becky Bowling officiating.\u00a0 Burial will follow in C.M.
