Wallace"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Rudy H. Wallace, age 70, of Oak Hill, passed away at Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis on Thursday, April 16, 2020 due to complications related to a stroke. He was born in Coalton, Ohio on Jan. 14, 1950 to the late Harry L. and Louise (Luster) Wallace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rudy graduated from Jackson High School, Class of 1968 and was a veteran of the United States Army where he served in Vietnam. He was a finish professional carpenter and traveled to different construction projects from Florida to New York, applying his skills and artistic work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He is survived by his son, Rudy Perry of West Virginia; granddaughter, Kierra Perry; great-grandchildren, Kingston and Kyrell; and grandson, Jacob Perry. Surviving siblings include brothers, Martin (Cynthia) Wallace of Jackson, Tomm (Carol) Wallace of Circleville; sisters, Heidi (Sam) Vititoe of Jackson and Barbara (Ron) Ross of Cincinnati. He is also survived by loving companion, Deborah Dunn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rudy\u2019s fondness for play and laughter will be missed by a host of nieces and nephews.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A memorial service will be held at a later date when conditions allow.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Rudy H.
