Johnson Hudson Myers.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lynn was a 1965 graduate of Wellston High School.&nbsp; She retired from William and Mary Kiddie Academy in Wellston, where she took pride in taking care of &#8220;her kids&#8221; for 18 years.&nbsp; Lynn was a funny and kind-hearted Christian woman who put God first in her life.&nbsp; Those who knew her know that she always had a smile on her face and a warm hug for anyone who needed it.&nbsp; Almost every morning, you could find Lynn enjoying time with her friends in the McDonald&#8217;s Breakfast Club.&nbsp; She was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Wellston, where over the years she took part in several church activities.&nbsp; Lynn was a dedicated volunteer at Compel Ministries, where she helped others and spread the word of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.&nbsp; She was also a faithful volunteer at TLC Ministries.&nbsp; In years past, Lynn always enjoyed participating in the Wellston Rotary Minstrel Shows.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lynn held her family very dear to her and is survived by the following: son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Robin Murray of Wellston; grandsons, Tyler Retterer-Swicki (Tim) of Akron and Derek Murray of Wellston; step-daughters, Renate Isaac (David) of Dundas and Nora Brooks (Kenny) of Zaleski; step-grandchildren, Andrea, Amanda, Charity, David and Andrew; siblings, Dan Hudson (Shirley) of Troy, Diane Bowling of Wellston, Jean Corvin (Rich) of Gallipolis, Bobby Myers of Wellston and Sylvia Swaney of Wellston; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Besides her parents, Lynn was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband of 27 years, Jack Murray; and her step-father, Whitey Myers.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Calling hours will be Friday from 2 to 8 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.&nbsp; Funeral service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home with Pastor Dave Kelly officiating.&nbsp; Burial will follow in the Ridgewood Cemetery.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In lieu of flowers, the family would greatly appreciate contributions in Lynn&#8217;s memory be given to Compel Ministries, 212 South Pennsylvania Avenue, Wellston, Ohio 45692 or directly to Compel&#8217;s account at Atomic Credit Union, 109 North Ohio Avenue, Wellston, Ohio 45692. \u00a0Online condolences can be sent to the family at\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lynn Murray, age 72, of Wellston, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2020, at The Ohio State University James Cancer Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.&nbsp; She was born May 9, 1947 in Gallipolis, Ohio to the late Daniel Hudson and Helen M.
