{"id":10448,"date":"2020-01-27T21:36:39","date_gmt":"2020-01-28T02:36:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jacksoncountyohiogen.com\/members\/?p=10448"},"modified":"2020-01-28T21:37:23","modified_gmt":"2020-01-29T02:37:23","slug":"rex-franklin-littlejohn","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jacksoncountyohiogen.com\/members\/2020\/01\/27\/rex-franklin-littlejohn\/","title":{"rendered":"Rex Franklin Littlejohn"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Rex Franklin Littlejohn, age 88, of Wellston, passed away Saturday morning, Jan. 25, 2020, at the Jenkins Care Community in Wellston, Ohio.&nbsp; He was born Jan. 4, 1932 in Wellston, Ohio to the late Harry and Frances Leach Littlejohn.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rex was a proud veteran of the United States Army who served as a train engineer during the Korean War.&nbsp; A jack of all trades, Rex had many jobs and professions throughout his life, including B&amp;O Railroad, Littlejohn&#8217;s Heating and Cooling, Littlejohn&#8217;s Real Estate, Slug&#8217;s Tire Shop, Southend Used Furniture, and Littlejohn&#8217;s Backhoe Service, to name a few.&nbsp; He also served as a Jackson County Commissioner in the 1970s and was one of the main organizers of Wellston&#8217;s Centennial celebration in 1976.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In his later years, Rex enjoyed continuing to buy and sell real estate, refurbishing tractors, appliances and mowers, and spending time with his family.
