Maxine Harris, age 71, of Wellston, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, Jan. 23, 2020, from the Jenkins Care Community in Wellston. She was born May 7, 1948 in Vinton County, Ohio to the late Pearl and Gladys Seymour. Maxine was a 1966 graduate of Vinton County High School. She was a housewife and homemaker who enjoyed canning and spending time with her family. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Maxine is survived by her daughter, Melissa “Missy” Harris of Wellston, along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Besides her parents, Maxine was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Franklin Harris; daughter, Kimberly Ellen Harris; sisters, Betty, Becky and infant sister, Patty Sue; and brothers, Ray, Pearl and Clarence Seymour. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
