Thomas J. \u201cT.J.\u201d Henry, age 69 of Jackson, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 29, 2019. He was born in Gallia County on Nov. 16, 1949 to the late Fred and Frances (Patterson) Henry. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Thomas James Henry and a brother, Omar Russell \u201cRusty\u201d Henry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He is survived by his daughters: Heather L. (Tony) Murphy and Callie De-Ann Henry; sons: Anthony Drew Henry (Arianna Gilmore), Ethan Joel Henry (Christina Bachtel) and Evan Thomas Dean Henry; five grandchildren: Payton, Skylar, Jordas, Andrew and Cassie; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Jean Simonette.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cT.J.\u201d was \u201cone of a kind\u201d! He was very ornery, and would try anything once. He loved spending time with his family; loved people; was an avid motorcyclist; and loved just riding around. He was also a handyman and would occasionally preach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He was a veteran of the United States Army and served in Vietnam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There will be no visitation or funeral service. A celebration of life will be held at the Lake Alma shelter house on Thursday, Oct. 3 at 11 a.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Arrangements are under the direction of the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home and Southern Ohio Cremation Services in Jackson.
