Carl \u201cButch\u201d Williams of Manilla Philippines (formerly of Jackson) left this earth too soon on Sept. 14, 2019. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
He was born on Dec. 29, 1946 to Carl L. (who preceded him) and Glenna (Foster) who survives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Those he leaves behind to miss him are his devoted wife, May, loving mother, Glenna and a dear step mother, Evelyn; daughters: Christie (Jorge) of Texas, Cynthia (Kimo) of Hawaii; sons: Brian (Kenna) of Las Vegas and Chris of Texas; sisters: Carla, Debbie, Diana, Mary, Sheila, and Tonya; as well as several grandchildren, many extended family members, and friends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A graduate of Jackson High School, who invented the \u201cyell\u201d club, he was a great actor in many plays, and a baseball player. He went into the Air Force upon graduation, making the Air Force a career. He retired to Guam where he held the position as head of an armory service for many years, before finally fully retiring to Manilla Philippines with his adoring wife.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Baseball was his passion (sliding like Pete Rose) and he was an avid Cincinnati Reds fan who loved to go to the games when he came back to visit or watch on TV or his computer even, until he left us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He had a great sense of humor, was a hard and loyal worker, a loving husband, son, father, brother, and friend. Though he came across as a \u201chard\u201d guy, he was really a \u201csofty\u201d that he wouldn\u2019t allow people to know.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As Frank Sinatra\/Butch would say, \u201cI did it my way\u201d – \u201chad a good life with no regrets. Think of me with funny and fond memories.\u201d
