He was born in Wellston on September 3, 1955, to the late John Delbert &#8221; Deb&#8221; Pittenger and Helen June Forrest Pittenger. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He was a self emlpoyed truck driver. In his spare time, he loved fishing and doing body work and painting on muscle cars. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Debbie Stevens, in 2000. He leaves behind his son, John A. Pittenger ( Ashley) and his grandson, Jerrick Pittenger, of Wellston; a stepson, Rex Hollingshead, of Wellston; a sister and caregiver, Barbara J. Pittenger, of Wellston; a niece and caregiver, Cassandra Moore, of Coalton; five nephews: Scott Pittenger ( Lacy) of Coalton, John Stevens, Bobby Stevens ( Libby), Shawn Stevens ( Lydia), and Todd Stevens ( Andrea), all of Wellston; a great niece and great nephew who were raised at home with him, Gracey Ferguson and Bryan Scott; and several other great nieces, great nephews, and cousins. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The family will receive friends at the Jenkins Funeral Chapel in Wellston on Tuesday ( Randy&#8217;s birthday) from 4 until 8 P.M. Services will be Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. at the Jenkins Chapel with Pastor Carmen Cline officiating.
