Willard F. Harvey

Willard F. Harvey, age 77, of Wellston, passed away Sunday, Dec. 24, 2017 at his home. He was born Nov. 7, 1940 in Radcliff, Ohio to the late Hollis E. Harvey and Clara C. Mollihan Harvey.

Willard was a graduate of Wilton South High School in Wilkesville. He retired from the Jackson County Highway Department and was a member of the Orphans Friend Masonic Lodge #275 F&AM in Wilkesville. In his spare time, Willard enjoyed fishing, watching Ohio State football, and driving around Lake Alma enjoying the scenery. Above all, he enjoyed spending time with his grandbaby, Chloe.

Willard is survived by his daughter, Victoria Albright of Wellston; granddaughter, Cameron Chloe Keirns, as well as all of his “adoptive grandchildren”; brothers, Ralph Harvey of Albany and Dean Harvey (Jane) of Radcliff; sister-in-law, Jennifer Dixon of Dundas, along with several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Willard was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Dixon Harvey; and siblings, Don Harvey, Maxine Dailey, Clyde Harvey, Harold Harvey, and infant Ellsworth Harvey.

In keeping with Willard’s wishes, his body was cremated. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial contributions be given to National Church Residences Hospice, 681 East 3rd Street, Waverly, Ohio 45690.
