Vivian L. Belcher

Vivian L. Belcher, age 79, of Jackson, passed away on Monday, Jan. 13, 2020 at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. She was born in West Middlesex, Pennsylvania on Oct. 3, 1940 to the late Harry L. Fox and Leona (Thompson) Fox. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Weldon Thomas Belcher and several siblings: Betty Williams, Donald (Sal) Fox, Charlotte (Walt) Miglesz, Gordon Fox, Nancy (Ernie) Taylor, Patricia (Jim) Craft, Kenneth (Nida) Fox, Robert “Bob” Fox and Bernice Newman. 

She is survived by two sons: Thomas Belcher and Bill Belcher (Heather Walker) and three daughters: Brenda L. (Thomas) Ruggles, Susan K. (Micah) Leedy and Linda K. (Michael) Williams; brother: Walter Fox; sister: Frances (James) Ratcliff; sister-in-law: Shelby Fox; grandchildren: Amanda Swann, Chris Swann, Beth Swann, Dustin Belcher, Steven Rollins, Leanna Baker, Matthew Bolen, Alex Belcher, Katie Belcher, Jaymin Belcher, Bryce Ramey, Hannah Williams, Chloe Williams and Charlee Belcher; great-grandchildren: Ashton Swann, Brooklyn Fizer, Brayden Fizer, Izzy Belcher, Eli Swann and Roman Swann and another great-grandchild on the way; step-grandchildren: Roger Ruggles, Matthew Ruggles and Nathen Lee Leedy; along with several nieces and nephews. 

A funeral service will be held at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home on Sunday, Jan. 19, 2020 at 1 p.m. with Minister Rick Arthur officiating. Burial to follow at C.M. Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, Jan. 18 from 4 to 8 p.m.
