Tammeria A. “Tami” Hansgen Smith, age 51, of Hamden, passed away unexpectedly Friday, January 10, 2014, at her home. She was born September 21, 1962 in Newark, Ohio to Russell Morris and Betty L. Hansgen.
Tami is survived by her mother, Betty Hansgen Gibbs of Hamden; husband, Carmen L. Smith of Hamden; son, Kenneth Clancy III of Chillicothe; brothers, John Downard of Hamden and Steven Downard of Radcliff; grandmother, Ruth Ann Hansgen Gotschall of Hebron, as well as two granddaughters, one grandson and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, and her daughter, Amber Monroe.
In keeping with Tami’s wishes, her body was cremated and a private burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Services are under the direction of the McWilliams Funeral Home of Wellston. Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
