Steward Edward Fulk

Rev. Steward Edward Fulk, age 81, passed away Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Four Winds in Jackson. He was born in Eifort, Ohio on Sept. 18, 1935 to the late George W. and Nellie B. (Yates) Fulk.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, whom he married in 1956, Wilma (Johnson) Fulk; children, Lisa (Wayne) Morris, Keith (Aileen) Fulk and Missi (Bryan) Pettit; grandchildren, Wayne (Vicki) Morris, Nicole (Tony) Stahl, Mindy (Tim) Harless, Mandi Fulk, Joe (Kristen) Morris, Maranda Pettit and Mariah Pettit; great-grandchildren, Sophia and Evie, Hayden, Herbie and Ginny and Sam. He’s also survived by brothers-in-law, Rick and Steve; and sisters-in-law, Lenora, Betty and Emily and numerous nieces, nephews, too many to mention, and other family members and friends that he loved dearly.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Martha Campbell Gibitz, Everett Fulk, Lester Fulk, Ruby Fulk, Margaret Bloomfield, Clarice Price and George W. Fulk, Jr. and brothers-in-law, David and Bill.

Steward went to Blackfork School and then worked at General Motors and retired after 30 years. He loved fishing, swimming and camping at Lake Alma with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren. He gave his life to the Lord in 1978 and was later ordained as a Freewill Baptist minister. He enjoyed 30-plus years of retirement from General Motors.

Friends may call Wednesday, March 15, 2017 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home in Oak Hill. Funeral services will follow on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at 2 p.m. with Rev.
