Steven Randall Howard

Steven Randall Howard, age 49, passed away unexpectedly on September 4, 2016 at his home in Chillicothe Ohio. He was born June 3, 1967 in Oxnard, California. He was a 1985 graduate of Jackson High School and attended the University of Rio Grande. He worked as a lab technician for Franklin Industries for 21 years.

He is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of 21 years, Connie (Humphreys) Howard; a daughter, Kristin Michelle, age 16; son, Tyler Richard, age 14; his mother and step-father, Patricia and Stewart Riegel of Jackson, Ohio; three sisters: Judy (Greg) Herbert of Oak Hill, Ohio, Rita (David) Wiseman of Gallipolis, Ohio, Shelly Howard of Gallipolis, Ohio; mother-in-law, Faye Humphreys of Jackson, Ohio; special uncle, Richard “Dick” (Bonnie) Howard of Jackson, Ohio; special aunt, Sharon Gregson of Somis, California; as well as several brother and sisters-in-law, and nieces and a nephew that he loved spending time with.

He was preceded in death by his father, John “Jack” Howard.

Steve was an avid Cleveland Browns and OSU Buckeyes football fan. He loved watching the games with his wife and children, who are also fans. He was a computer hobbyist. He loved fishing and cheering on his kids at sporting events. Steve lived his life for his family and his children. He was a wonderful father and husband.

Friends may call on Thursday, September 8, 2016 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 9, 2016 at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
