Steven Clarkson Jr., 27, of Wellston, passed away Friday, Dec. 14, 2012, at the Holzer Medical Center in Jackson. The son of the late Steven Clarkson and Shirley (Floyd) Westfall of Wellston, he was born Sept. 22, 1985, at Gallipolis. Steven had been employed for about 1 ½ years at Wendys.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his fiancée, Casey Hersh; a daughter, Nevaeh; a daughter soon to be born; a brother, Matthew; and a sister, Jennifer. He is also survived by grandmothers, Nancy French of Wellston and Allie Westfall of Coalton; a niece, Rylee Clarkson; numerous cousins; several aunts and uncles; and his good friend Ryan Moore.
Steven was preceded in death by his father; paternal grandparents, Bill Clarkson and Ruth Canterbury; his maternal grandfather, Robert Lorenzen Sr.; and an infant brother, William.
Friends may call Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Huntley & Cremeens Funeral Home of Wellston. A funeral service, officiated by Reverend Chester Collins, will immediately follow visitation and burial will take place in the C M Cemetery at Oak Hill.
