Stephanie Lynette Metzler passed away unexpectedly at SOMC Hospital on Oct. 10, 2018 due to medical complications.
Stephanie was born in Gallipolis, Ohio on Dec. 26, 1977, to Tom and Freda (McGuire) Metzler. To say Stephanie was an animal lover would be an understatement. Stephanie had the largest heart for animals, and loved being able to care for those animals that were unwanted by others and give them a wonderful life. Beside her passion for animals, Stephanie also enjoyed fishing, spending time with her family, and spoiling her nephew Gavin, who she had an extremely close bond and relationship with.
Stephanie is survived by her husband, Frank R. Windle III; parents, Tom and Freda (McGuire) Metzler; sister, Courtney Metzler (Jeff Howell), and nephew, Gavin Howell. Stephanie is also survived by a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and good friend, Shannon Diamond.
Stephanie was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Vernon and Irene McGuire and paternal grandparents, Bill and Lola Metzler.
Friends may call Saturday, Oct. 13, 2018 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 14, 2018 at the funeral home with Rev.
