Shirley D. Burton, age 78, of Jackson, passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Heartland of Jackson. She was born in Wellston, Ohio on Jan. 3, 1939 to the late Elmer and Vreda (Morris) Burton. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Burton; a son, Charles Burton, Jr., and a brother, Elmer Burton, Jr.
She is survived by her son, Randy (Elizabeth) Burton; grandchildren: William Conley, Elijah Conley and Victoria Conley; and sisters-in-law: Carolyn Wyatt and Aligria Burton.
Funeral service will held at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home on Saturday, April 15 at 3 p.m. with Ray Schauer officiating. Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from noon until the time of the service at 3 p.m. on Saturday.
