Samuel Anthony “Tony” Hatley, age 62, of Wellston, passed away Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. He was born January 16, 1959, in Madisonville, Kentucky to Samuel B. Hatley and Thayla C. Burklow Hatley. Tony graduated from Wellston High School with the class of 1977 and was a former millwright and heavy equipment mechanic. He is survived by his mother, Thayla Hatley of Wellston; son, Michael Hatley (Mandy Thacker) of Florida; daughter, Mika Wilson (Justin) of Jackson; grandson, Morgan Wilson; sisters: Vicki Holzapfel (Rex) of Wellston and Mitzi Ellis (Mike) of Lewisburg, West Virginia; brother, Rob Hatley (Josette) of Covington, Louisiana; along with several nieces and nephews. Tony was preceded in death by his father, Sam Hatley.

Calling hours will be Monday, September 27th from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral services will follow the calling hours at 7 p.m. with Pastor Tim Jones officiating. Burial will be in the White Oak Baptist Church Cemetery in Clay, Kentucky.
