Ruth Eggers House age 76 of Oak Hill, Ohio went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, July 21, 2012 at Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis, Ohio after a long battle with cancer.
Ruth was born May 21, 1936 in Mahan, WV to the late Charles and Frances Eggers. Ruth was a homemaker, and active member of the Trinity Wesleyan Church in Oak Hill. Ruth is proceeded in death by her husband Wilbur “Bill” House Sr. ,brothers: John, Charles, Joseph, and Jim Eggers sisters: Mildred Kozma, Garnet Evans, Della Mae Lipscomb, and Myrtle Underwood.
Ruth is survived by son Wilbur “Bill” House Jr. (Rita) of Oak Hill, grandson Brandon (Katie) House of Oak Hill, granddaughter Brittany House of Oak Hill, brother Delbert (Donna) Eggers of Oak Hill, and sister-in-law Frances Crace of Lexington, KY.
Funeral Services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 25, at the Lewis-Gillum Funeral Home (formerly Kuhner-Lewis) with burial to follow in Bethel Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday, July, 24, from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
