Rudy H. Wallace

Rudy H. Wallace, age 70, of Oak Hill, passed away at Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis on Thursday, April 16, 2020 due to complications related to a stroke. He was born in Coalton, Ohio on Jan. 14, 1950 to the late Harry L. and Louise (Luster) Wallace.

Rudy graduated from Jackson High School, Class of 1968 and was a veteran of the United States Army where he served in Vietnam. He was a finish professional carpenter and traveled to different construction projects from Florida to New York, applying his skills and artistic work.

He is survived by his son, Rudy Perry of West Virginia; granddaughter, Kierra Perry; great-grandchildren, Kingston and Kyrell; and grandson, Jacob Perry. Surviving siblings include brothers, Martin (Cynthia) Wallace of Jackson, Tomm (Carol) Wallace of Circleville; sisters, Heidi (Sam) Vititoe of Jackson and Barbara (Ron) Ross of Cincinnati. He is also survived by loving companion, Deborah Dunn.

Rudy’s fondness for play and laughter will be missed by a host of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date when conditions allow.
