Roy Rogers McNerlin, age 79, of Oak hill, Ohio passed away Monday, July 26th at his home. He was born January 4th, 1942, in Oak Hill, Ohio to the late Danny and Sadie (Malone) McNerlin.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Karen (Henry) McNerlin; children: Debbie (John) Black, Tammy (Donald) Woods, Kathy McNerlin, and Roger (Mandy) McNerlin; grandchildren: Heather Black, Adam Woods, Nathan Woods, Shiann Eggers, and Chase Farney; great-grandchildren: Joseph Hunter Woods, Kaitlynn Woods, Kolton Woods, Mason Woods, and Baylee Elizabeth Woods; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by grandson, Robbie Woods, three brothers, and one sister.

Roy retired from the Pillsbury Plant. He enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing and camping, but his greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, July 30 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill, Ohio. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Franklin Valley Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com.
