Roy “Danny” Ross

Roy Daniel “Danny” Ross, 58, of Columbus, passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2021, at Grant Hospital in Columbus. He was born on September 18, 1962, in Gallipolis, Ohio, son of Roy A. Ross, who survives, and the late Peggy Austin. Danny spent many years working as a truck driver. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a NASCAR enthusiast. He will be missed.

In addition to his father, Danny is survived by his children: Steven Ross (Amanda), Jeremy Ross (Autumn), Kerry Ross (Kristen), and Mandy Ross; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Vickie Abele (Mike), Stephanie Coleman, Audra Ross, Lucy Betts (Pete), and Becky Walton; brothers, Rocke Ross (Julie), Randy Ross, Steve Folden (Connie), Darrell Denney, and George Denney; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marsha, and brothers, Kevin Jay Ross and Jerry Denney, Jr., and a nephew, Brandon Ross.

A memorial service celebrating Roy’s life will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, May 5, 2021, in the chapel of R.M. Williams Funeral Service, 120 W. Broadway St., Wellston, with Pastor Tim Jones officiating. Burial will be in Ridgewood Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
