Roxabel “Roxie” Musick, age 81, of Jackson, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2012, at Four Winds Nursing Facility, Jackson. She was born in Leo, Ohio, on January 15, 1931. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Josephine (Lambert) Kasee, her husband Thomas Musick, and an infant brother, Delano Kasee.
Roxie was a graduate of Coalton High School and a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church.
She is survived by son, Mark Musick, daughter, Dawn (Merrill) Lanning, brother, Kenneth Kasee, all of Jackson, Ohio; two sisters, Pearl Lola Clark and Nancy Wells, both of Huntington, West Virginia; two grandchildren, Jillian (Kevin) Bapst and Kristin Lanning.
Friends may call at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home Friday from 3 to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the Emmanuel Baptist Church on Saturday, Feb. 4, at 1 p.m. with Pastor Dobie Wyant officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairmount Cemetery.
