Rowan Wade Martin, 5 years old, went to be with the Lord unexpectedly Friday, April 8, 2022, at the Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He was born November 25, 2016, in Gallipolis, Ohio to Earl Mason Martin and Shoshana Hope Rowland.
He is survived by his parents; siblings: Emery Martin, Genesis Martin, Riley Causey, Persephone Rowland and Broque Martin; grandparents: Teresa Hill, Brian Long and Frank Causey; great-grandparents: Wilma Causey, Evelyn Hill and Jesse Judy Hill; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Ruth Martin.
Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. The family would like to thank the following people and organizations: Piketon Police Dept, Pike County Sheriff’s Office, Med-Care Transport, Adena Pike Hospital, Med-Care Air Transport and Children’s Hospital of Columbus.
