Rosetta Marie Evans, age 64, of Jackson, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2020. Rosetta was born on July 22, 1955 to the late James and Barbara (Browning) Carpenter.
Rosetta is survived by her children, Jim (Lisa Wiltsie) Evans, Becky (Eldon Gartin) Evans, and Ben (Ronda) Adams; as well as her significant other, Don Adams. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Johnny (Hootie) Oiler, Steffanie Oiler, Samantha Oiler, Stacey (Ryan) Fisher, Brittany (Collin Hotchkiss) Haenszel, Annie (Nick Houk) Haenszel, Lacy Adams, and Cerra Adams. Rosetta was also blessed to have three great-grandchildren, Keyairra Helton, Rylan Fisher, and Liam Jack Hotchkiss; four sisters, Ruthann Dingus, Joyce (Jerry) Dingus, Sarah (Dave) Krischak and Amy (Anthony) Elkins, and brother, Jimbo (Brigitte) Carpenter; as well several nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Melody Gail Wright.
Services will be held at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson, on Saturday, Jan. 25, 2020 at 2 p.m. Calling hours will be observed from 12 to 2 p.m. with the funeral immediately following. Burial will be at the convenience of the family at a later date at Franklin Valley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home to offset the funeral expenses.
