Ronnie Lee Snyder

Ronnie Lee Snyder, age 69, of Jackson, passed away Friday, April 10, 2020, at his home.  He was born April 28, 1950 in Gallipolis, Ohio to the late Ora Snyder and Wilma Sargent Snyder. 

Ronnie was a 1968 graduate of Oak Hill High School.  He was a former maintenance man at General Mills, from where he retired following over 30 years of employment.  Ronnie enjoyed hunting and fishing, but most of all, he loved spending time with his granddaughter, Alice. 

He is survived by son, Paul Snyder of Jackson; daughter, Arlaina Ellison of Ripley, West Virginia; grandchildren, Alice Snyder of Jackson, and Isaac Blankenship, Ethan Ellison and Eli Ellison, all of Ripley, West Virginia; great-grandson, Camdyn Blankenship of Ripley, West Virginia; brother, Paul Snyder (Lynn) of Jackson; sisters, Sally Snyder-Hutchison (Jeff) of Kingston, Ohio and Ada Tulett of Clovis, New Mexico; best friend, Kenny Jones of Wellston; and ex-wife, Rhoda Peters of Chauncey. 

Besides his parents, Ronnie was preceded in death by his sister, Joan Snyder. Calling hours will be Monday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston, with a funeral service following at 1 p.m.  Burial will be in the Salem Cemetery.
