Ronald Lee Straight

Ronald Lee Straight, age 76, of Oak Hill, Ohio passed away Thursday, September 25, 2014 at his residence. He was born July 10, 1938 in Waterloo, Ohio to the late Elva and Blanche (Tedder) Straight.

He attended Cadmus School in Waterloo, Ohio. After that he worked as a sanitation engineer for the city of Columbus for thirty years.

He is survived by his wife, Vivian Rosalie (Leonard) Straight; two sons, Gregory (Dreama) Leonard of Oak Hill, Ohio and Mark (Sharon) Johnson of Marion, Ohio; six grandchildren, Shawn, Aaron, Sarah, Andrew, Paul, and Stephanie; several great-grandchildren; and sisters, Luwana (Brian) Bostic of Waterloo, Ohio and Sherry (Eldon) Paugh of Milton, West Virginia.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Rhonda Fulton; sisters, Agnus Brumfield, Eladean Mitchell, and Pauline Jenkins; and a brother, Billy Straight.

The family would like to thank his hospice nurse, Erica of Holzer Hospice for the care she provided him.

A funeral service will be held at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at 1pm with Rev. Stan Howard officiating. Burial will follow at Horeb Cemetery.
