Roger Dean Wolford, of Jackson, Ohio, passed away on May 20, 2020, at his home surrounded by his family.
Roger was born March 12, 1956 in Oak Hill, Ohio to Virgil and Maxine (May) Wolford. Roger was a 1974 graduate of Jackson High School.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Patricia Wolford and Maxine May; sisters: Wilma Keller and Lynn Freeman; and a brother, Bill Wolford.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Cynthia Wolford; beloved sons: Jason (Nikki) Wolford and Luke (Mackenzie Maynard) Wolford; three grandsons: Hayden Jones, Jude and Emmitt Wolford; brothers: Virgil Wolford, Jr., and Mike (Edie) Wolford; mother and father-in-law, Rev. James and Carolyn Taylor; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and brothers- and sisters-in-law.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Heartland Hospice for their care and compassion they showed Roger and his family during this difficult time.
