Robert Wayne Wolf, Sr., age 62, of Richmond Dale, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2014, at the Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe, Ohio. He was born July 4, 1951 in Washington, D.C. to the late Robert Leroy Wolf and Virginia McFarland Wolf.
Bob was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during the Vietnam era. He was a former salesman who enjoyed coaching, fishing, golfing and playing cards. He was also an avid Ohio State Buckeye’s football fan.
He is survived by his son, Robert Wayne Wolf, Jr. of Richmond Dale; sisters, Catherine Grossmann of Coco Beach, Florida and Lucile Hixson of Richmond, Virginia; brother, James Wolf of Richmond, Virginia; former wife and friend, Gail West Wolf of Richmond Dale, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Joshua Jay Matthew Wolf.
Calling hours will be Sunday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston where the funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. Burial will be in the Ridgewood Cemetery with military honors by the American Legion Post 371 of Wellston.
