Robert Russell, D.J. Rockin’ Rob, Hayth, of Jackson, passed away on June 15, 2019. He was born on April 3, 1963 to Donna “Ruth” Hayth and the late Robert Hayth.
Rob was a 1982 graduate of Wellston High School. He loved to cook and enjoyed the outdoors, landscaping, kayaking, and bicycling. He was also known as D.J. Rockin’ Rob, playing in various areas for over 29 years.
Rob is survived by his soul mate of 29 years, Jeannette “Missy” Burgoon; daughter, Robin Hall; mother, Donna “Ruth” Hayth; sisters, Sandy (Roger) Manring and Susan (Steve) Tripp; grandson, Greyson Layne; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert L. Hayth.
A memorial service will take place at 3:00 p.m. in the Johnson-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, 207 S. Main St., Baltimore, OH, on Friday, June 21, 2019. Family and friends may visit from 1:30 p.m. until the time of services on Friday.
