Robert “Eric” Tobert, age 47, of Oak Hill, Ohio, passed away at his home Sunday, October 19, 2014 after a long battle with cancer. He was born July 18, 1967 in Gallipolis, Ohio to Betty (Davis) Gray and Robert Tobert, both of whom survive.
Eric was an employee of Plibrico. He really loved his job and all of his co-workers.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Joy (Queen) Tobert; sons, Cyle (Loranda) Tobert of Oak Hill, Ohio and Cameron and Mason Tobert; two grandsons, Brandon and Bryson of Oak Hill, Ohio; sisters, Jeri (Tom) Protheroe of Richwood, Ohio, Robin Destefano of Urbana, Ohio, Kathy Salas of Arlington, Virginia, Esther (Doren) Franton of Michigan; brothers, Chip (Carol) Speakman of Bellefontaine, Ohio, Scott Speakman of Michigan, John (Tracy) Tobert of Oak Hill, Ohio, and Mark Tobert of Oak Hill, Ohio; sisters-in-law, Jessie Britton and Maggie Speakman, both of Oak Hill, Ohio; and a brother-in-law, Carl Queen of Oak Hill, Ohio.
Preceding him in death was his step-father, Bob Gray and a brother, Jeff Speakman.
