Robert Daniel “Bob” Pittenger

Robert Daniel “Bob” Pittenger, age 67, of Wellston, passed away Sunday, Aug. 6, 2017 at his home. He was born May 2, 1950 in Wellston, Ohio to the late Everett W. Pittenger and Wilma Burke Pittenger.

Bob was a former security guard for G4S. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing and hunting, and was awesome at building model trains.

Bob is survived by his daughter, Tammy Wadsworth (Kevin) of Dublin; granddaughter, Amy Ruth Wadsworth; siblings, Bill Ghearing, Polly Todd (Gene), Sue Smith, Paul Tucker (Penny), Ronnie Pittenger (Francis Jonas), Nancy Tennant, Emma Farney, Marilyn Coles (Sarge), Kenny Pittenger (Lisa), Mabel Williams, Eugene Carpenter (Shari), Bobbie Montgomery, Gary Pittenger (Kathy), and Joseph Pittenger (Anita) along with several other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In keeping with Bob’s wishes, his body was cremated. Memorial service will be held on Wednesday at 2 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.
