Robert (Bob) Hill

Robert E. “Bob” Hill, age 64, of Wellston, passed away unexpectedly Friday, March 12, 2021, at his home. 

He was born March 16, 1956 in Wellston, Ohio to the late Orville Eugene Hill and Louella Conley Hill, and was raised by the late Jolene Horner Hill. Bob was a 1974 graduate of Wellston High School and was a former employee of Jackson Corporation. Bob always enjoyed fishing, deer hunting, watching NASCAR, mushroom hunting and taking care of his buddy, Lil Bit. 

He is survived by his siblings, Charlotte Soder, Denver Adkins, Jimmy Adkins, Delano Adkins, Doug Hill, Burton Leach, Cheryl Garvin, Regina Gilabert and Rosie Buffington; aunts, Margie Parks and Mildred Conley; uncle, Williams Morgan, Jr.; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Besides his parents and stepmother, Bob was preceded in death by brother, Kenny Leach. 

Calling hours will be Monday, March 15, 2021, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral service will follow the calling hours at 6 p.m. with Pastor Barry Benson officiating. Cremation will follow the service and burial will be at the convenience of the family in Ridgewood Cemetery.  For those choosing to attend the services, facial coverings are required inside the building along with the practice of social distancing.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com
