Ricki Dawn Blake, age 13, of Oak Hill, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 25th, 2021, at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born August 28th, 2008, in Huntington, West Virginia to Rickie and Melissa (Thompson) Blake.
In addition to her parents, she was survived by her brothers: David (Courtney) Givens, Steven (Myra) Givens, and Jason (Kasey) Givens; sister, Betty Blake; grandparents: Rick and Janie Blake; grandmother, Ruby DeYoung; aunt, Jackie Mershon; uncle, Timothy Blake; cousin, Coylee Slaton; nephews: Skylar Givens, Aiden Givens and Daniel Givens; several great aunts, great uncles and cousins; along with special friends Nellie and Arnold. She was preceded in death by her grandmother and several cousins.
Ricki was a tender-hearted, loving and kind girl. She was always smiling and loved giving everyone hugs. The family would like to extend special thanks to the Jackson City Schools employees and staff for all of their kindness and condolences.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, January 4th, 2022, at 1 p.m. at the Blake & Givens Family Cemetery, 179 Gallia Blackfork Rd, Oak Hill, OH 45656. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
