Rebecca Ann Marie Beard Swisher, 41, of Jackson passed away on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at OSU Medical Center in Columbus. Becky was born in Columbus, Ohio on May 21, 1976 to the late Russell Beard and Joyce Bocook.
Becky was a 1995 graduate of Jackson High School.
She enjoyed keeping up with her classmates and friends by Facebook and phone conversations. Her love of music kept her entertained and she especially enjoyed attending the Apple Festival each year. She had a special kind of love for her nephews T.J. Bocook, Josh Casto, James Foster, Melissa Foster and Rebekah Foster.
She is survived by Charles Swisher whom she married in 1998 and sister, Carol Bocook of Columbus; brother, Dale Pelt; Aunt Barbara Chandler of Jackson and cousins, Christina Yates, Lori Chandler, Barbara Wenger, Ed Spence, Kathy Morningstar, Deborah Keck, Greg Chandler and Bobby Dollar.
Becky had remained very close to two of her former Middle School teachers, Don Jenkins and Vicki Williams.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 29 at 1 p.m. at Grace Baptist Fellowship Church at 240 S. New York Street in Wellston, Ohio with Pastor Tim Jones officiating.
