Raymond Gerald Childers, age 72, of Oak Hill, Ohio, passed away Friday, Feb. 14, 2020 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born Aug. 19, 1947 to the late Raymond C. and Mary (Wallace) Childers.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Peggy (Frye) Childers; his special sister-in-law, Mary (Tim) Jones; two daughters, Pam and Roberta; three sons: Frank, Brian, and Jonathon; 13 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brothers, John (Vickie), Doug, and Ed; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Joe and sisters, Becky and Linda.
Per his wishes, he will be cremated. Family will receive guests on Saturday, Feb. 22, 2020 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill.
