Raymond Cash

Raymond T. Cash, age 72, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis.  He was born October 29, 1948 in Gallipolis, Ohio to the Doris J. (Terry) Gifford and the late Ralph R. “Dick” Cash. 

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Phyllis Cash, of Jackson; he was the beloved father of, Terri L. Husek, John P. Cash (Jodi) and Brian T. Cash (Katie); he was the loving grandfather of, Shelby A. Sirback, Amanda Shaw, T.J. Shaw, Michael Husek (Jaymie), Cody Husek (Stevie), Jordan Husek, Payton Husek-Baker, Izabella Husek-Baker, Tyler Cash, Sara Cash, Devon Cash and Cassandra Z.; he was the loving great- grandfather of, Alex Sirback, Aiden Sirback and Trevor Wilson; he was a brother to, Kathy Henderson (Bill), Bill Fisher and Cheryl Sickles, and several other family and friends.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Vernon Cash and Joe Sickles and sister, Mary Nicoles.

Terry was a graduate of Wellston High School.  He worked hard for Tavens Container in Cleveland for 47 years.  He enjoyed fishing, he enjoyed his family and playing his guitar with his brothers.  He was a practical jokester and would pull a joke on you when you least expected it.  He will be missed.

Friends may call Tuesday, April 20, 2021 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. Burial will be at the convenience of the family at a later date. Per CDC guidelines and governor recommendations, everyone is required to wear a mask while indoors.  Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com
