Ray Willis, Jr.

Ray Willis Jr., age 71, of Jackson, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2018 at his residence. He was born June 29, 1947 in Pedro, Ohio to the late Ray, Sr. and Dottie (Donley) Willis. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his step-father, Willie Watson; his brothers, Keith, Jeff and Randy; and one sister, Rhonda.

Ray is survived by his wife, Patricia “Patty” (Trapp) Willis; his brother, Billy; sisters: Valerie, Pam, Robin, Donna Jean and Debby; several nieces and nephews; special nephew, Tony (Judy), special great-niece and nephew, Genny and Tyler (Cora); and special great-great-nephews and nieces: Camden, Ethan, Hailey and Brantley.

He was a veteran of the United States Army, enjoyed working on cars, shooting guns and loved his four-legged fur balls.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 27, 2018 at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Jack Hughes officiating. Burial will follow in Horeb Cemetery in Oak Hill, Ohio. Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 26, 2018 at the funeral home.
