Phyllis J. Hall, age 72, formerly of Oak Hill, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2014. She was born in Louisa, Kentucky on July 28, 1941 to the late Matthew and Bernice (Thompson) Moore.
She is survived by two daughters, Donna (Jim) Shipley of Oak Hill, Ohio and Teresa Campbell of Rio Grande, Ohio; two sons, Kevin (Chan) Hall of Amarillo, Texas and Barry (Samantha) Hall of Waverly, Ohio; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; four brothers, Kendall (Hannah) Moore, Randall (Amber) Moore, Gary (Jenny) Moore, and Terry (Mary) Moore; two sisters, Lorina (Harry) McGuire and Tina Moore.
Preceding her in death in addition to her parents was the father of her children, Donald R. Hall.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at Lewis & Gillum Funeral Homes of Oak Hill, Ohio at 1 p.m. with Reverend Nathan Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Dunkard Hill Cemetery in Chillicothe, Ohio. Calling hours will also be held on Saturday, January 4, 2014 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., prior to the funeral at the funeral home.
