Pearl F. Zimmerman, age 87, of Wellston, passed away Thursday, July 16, 2015, at the Edgewood Manor of Wellston. She was born April 13, 1928 in Jackson County, Ohio, the daughter of the late Guston Burton and Leona Morris Burton. Pearl was a homemaker and she formerly attended the Church of God in Wellston.
Pearl is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Larry McManus of Hamden; sister and brother-in-law, Donnie and Gene Hutchinson of Wellston; grandchildren, Wendy Webb (Brent) of McArthur, Angela Jenkins (John) of Wellston and Bryan McManus of Hamden, as well as several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, including special nephews, Tony Hutchison and Randy Hutchinson, both of Wellston.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Ruby McCray and Opal Phillips; brothers, James Burton and Guston Burton, Jr.; great-grandson, Blake Jenkins; niece, Sandy Davis; and her former husband of 46 years, Andy Zimmerman.
Calling hours will be Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral service will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home with Pastor David Kelley officiating. Burial will be in the Ridgewood Cemetery.
