Paul D. Sharp, age 87, of Jackson, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at Heartland of Jackson. He was born in Jackson, Ohio, June 20, 1925 to the late Ernest and Anna (Morgan) Sharp.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Bethel J. (Campbell) Sharp, and son, Ronald Sharp, both of Jackson. He served in the Navy, in World War II. After returning home, he spent his entire life in Jackson County. He was a member of the Coalton Freewill Baptist Church from 1981 until his passing.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 1, 2012 at the Lewis-Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson (formerly Eisnaugle-Lewis), with Rev Tim Simpson and Rev Robert Fulton officiating.
