Patty A. Parsons Kingery

Patty A. Parsons Kingery, 64, of McArthur, Ohio, passed away with her daughters by her side following her battle with cancer on Sunday evening, June 14, 2020, at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe. She was born in Oregon on Nov. 13, 1955, to the late Otis and Martha Goheen Parsons. She was a 1974 graduate of Wellston High School and earned an Associate’s Degree as a medical assistant from Hocking College. She retired from Adena Health System. She was an avid OSU Buckeyes football fan.

She leaves behind her two daughters: Angie (Bob) Woods and Fallon Kingery, and a special son-in-law, Jerrod Nichols, all of Londonderry, Ohio; three grandchildren: Kyle (Nancy) Thoroughman of Clarksville, Tenn., and Chloe and Zoie Nichols of Londonderry; two great-grandchildren: Johnithen and Jaxson Thoroughman, of Clarksville; two sisters: Debbie Baldwin of Mt. Pleasant, S.C. and Linda Stapleton Hanley of Jackson, Ohio; and a special friend, Wendi Graves, of Londonderry.

The family invites friends to call at the Jenkins Funeral Chapel in Wellston on Thursday from 12 p.m. until the start of the services at 1 p.m. Rev. James Taylor will officiate the services with burial to follow in the Coalton Greenlawn Memory Gardens.

The family would like to acknowledge the kindness and helpfulness shown by the Vinton County Health Department towards Patty during her trying times.
