Patsy L. Peck, age 62, of Wellston, passed away Saturday, October 20, 2012, at her home. She was born May 1, 1950 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Harry L. Gilliland, Sr. and Pearl Humphreys Gilliland. Patsy was retired from Austin Powder Company in McArthur and she was a member of High Praise Ministries in Jackson.
She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Terry J. Peck; two children, Ryan H. Peck (Kayla) of Wellston and Kassidi K. McGinnis of Wellston; two grandchildren, Paytin and Haydon; four sisters, Kathy Fugett (John) of Jackson, Sue VanWie (Bob) of Jackson, Kristy Napper (Terry) of Hamden and Linda McGinnis (William) of Wellston, as well as several nieces and nephews, including Marcee and Daniel Sanchez, whom she helped raise. Patsy is also survived by many cousins and friends.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Shawn Gilliland and her brothers, Harry L. Gilliland, Jr., Donald Haythe and Steve Gilliland.
Calling hours will be Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home with Pastor Kay Webb officiating.
